New Build Issue - Streaming/Video Playback

I recently built my first rig, and everything works great with the exception of one issue. When streaming video (ie Youtube) and playing video files, the screen sometimes cuts to black and white horizontal lines and the sound stops. This is what usually happens, but a few times the screen has turned orange, and a few times the sound just turns into a garbled mess. The only way to get out of this is to do a hard reset and hope it doesn't happen again, but I run into it once or twice daily.

It happens more often during streaming than during playback. Also, I've never experienced this problem when running any games.

Here are some specs of the build:

Windows 7 Ultimate
ASRock Z77 mobo
i5 3570K
VGA XFX Radeon HD 7870
2x 4GB Patriot DDR3
OCZ 128GB SSD

Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked into them and it doesn't appear to be the issue. It's not just the browser or the video that crashes, its the entire system.

Just a note: Youtube isn't the only site that causes it. Pretty much any streaming video will trigger it (Hulu, news sites, etc.)
