Sharing bandwidth

Im a networking noob,so to make things simple:

-I have a 10 mbps subscription.
-I use a router and connect two pcs on it,they use internet at the same time.
Q:will the speed be 5mbps on each computer?if so,is there a way to make it 10mbps each while they are both using the internet at the same time?

Both should have pretty much the full speed unless you are doing something network heavy like downloads.

Both will have the same 10Mbps speed.
If u start heavy network activity like P2P sharing or using Download managers they tend to hog all the bandwidth..
There are softwares out there on the internet that will help u in managing how much bandwidth a PC will take at max..
so that internet connection is smooth on both the machines
