Hi guys, l'm not too familiar with hardware testing utilities for testing HW to component levels (i.e Memory, Motherboard,SCSI controllers etc). Can you guys send names or inputs on the most popular and efficient hardware testing utilities out there? Would really appreciate it.

Sandra is decent for testing every aspect of your system, and getting better with every version.

HDTach is great for testing hard drives.

3DMark is a popular syntetic benchmark for the rendering power of your system.

I think that if you want all-around testing, Sisoft Sandra is your best bet.
