Hello everybody. I have an ATI HD 6850, which has 2 fans. A few months ago the fans made some weird noises.. (not always). Usually it would be quite when I turned on my computer, but after a while it started making noises, some times it was like noise for 1 sec, then it would stop, then again that noise! Today I decided to take a look again. I moved my PC, and when I turned it on I noticed that the one GPU fan was not spinning, and there was no noise. I moved the fan with my hand a little bit, and it started spinning again, and the noise started. So I found out which fan is making the noise, but i have no idea how to fix it. Probably it touches somewhere and it makes that noise.. but I don't know. Do you have any idea what I can do about it?

I would buy a new fan and see how that goes. If the new fan works w/o you touching it, then the old fan is a gone.

nah wait , now it works by itself, i dont touch it.. i only moved it slightly and it started working normally, it just makes some annoying noise. Its not that big noise but it cant be annoying.. Maybe some other solution?

Solution is, replace the fan. If it's making nose the bushing or something else on the motor are not working properly. Or listen to your music louder so you don't hear it, but in that case when the fan dies and your card dies due to overheating, no complaining.

Alright... Actually yesterday I checked my files and I still have the receipt of my GPU, so I guess I will just tell them to give me a new one, or I will just replace the fan as you told me. Thanks a lot.
