Hey guys, I just started building my new gaming pc and really have no clue what to do after that. Ive watched a ton of vids and read a ton of articles on bios setup but all are very different. I need some help on what/how to run my bios so my computer is working at 100%. Here are mu parts. Any info will help greatly.

You dont really need to mess with the BIOS that much unless you are overclocking. Il assume your not, though your set up for it if you wanted too.

Only thing would be checking to make sure everything is set up right. So check the if the RAM is running at the right frequency and timings, if its not then enabling the XMP profile will fix that.
Then it would be setting up the boot order, so that the OS drive (the Barracuda im guessing) is first.

At first will i set my boot to the optical so i can install my os. Once my os is installed i change it back to hdd?

Also my optical didn't come with a sata cable. The mobo came with two. Is that enough. One for the optical and one for the hdd.
