Ok so i just built my new pc and ive been building for a while but never had this issue, my PC takes 3 tries to reboot. the first 2 tries everything comes on then after 3-5 secs turns off, then it starts again and does the same then on the 3rd try it boots up idk what the deal is. here is my build

i5-3570k
G.skill sniper 16gb 1866mhz
Asrock extreme 3 z77 mobo
corsair h-80
samsung 840 ssd
WD 1tb blue drive
ocz 600w psu

any help would be appreciated

Remove the cable to the WD hard drive, only install one RAM stick, then try and boot it. If it boots/runs fine, swap out the RAM stick and try again. If it boots/runs poorly, then you have a bad RAM stick.

Also make sure you have the cpu heat sink on properly, as I once had a boot issue with a new PC build and it ended up being that the cpu cooler popped off on one corner.
