I went to compusa for x-mas gifts and looked at a 7200rpm hard drive and noticed that it wasn't a "plus" drive. So... Is this a slower drive or is it a wrongly printed box or is it something else. Then I looked at all their other maxtor drives and none of them said "plus". I checked on their online site and the online page says "plus" and shows it in the picture. Can someone explain??

It's because they have a new box. The box is going to either say 5400RPM or 7200RPM on it. Maxtor Direct shows the new boxes and so does CompUSA online. The plus only indicated 7200RPM, and if it didn't have that then it would be 5400RPM.
