Hey guys,
I want your opinions about what I want into my next gaming pc....

heres what I choose...

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: P8Z77-V LK
Memory:G.Skill Ripjaws X F3 1600 Mhz DDR3
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Storage: Crucial M4 256GB SSD
Video Card: Gigabytes GTX 670 2 GB OC
Case: Zalman Z9 Plus
Power Supply: EVGA 750W
Optical Drive: Liteon 24x DVD writer
Monitor: Asus VE247H 23.6 inch 1080p 2ms
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7

I will use this pc only for gaming , i have a mac for all others applications...
I would like to play to...

skyrim with mods
battlefield 3 and 4 soon
farcry 3
crysis 3
Flight simulator X
And all future other games

My questions are:

Do I really need a CPU cooler ?
I saw alot of gaming pc built with asrock z77 extreme 4 ... is it really better than the p8z77-v lk ? whats the benefit ?
Is the gigabytes better than other ones gtx 670 ?
Do i need more than 8 gb of ram memories ?

Thanks for your help guys ... I need to order it soon...

Do you need a CPU cooler? Only if you plan to overclock the cpu then buy one.

Asrock z77 extreme ? The boards are about the same. The big difference is the ASUS has a graphical BIOS - easier to navigate in the BIOS. Also, Asrock boards have some weird placements of connectors

GTX 670 - real nice GPU - no issues with your choice

8 GB of RAM? Get 16 GB of RAM its so cheap it will help you long term

Perfect ! So if im not planning to oc it right now i can wait for the cooler ?
What do you think about the cooler master hyper 212 plus direct touch ?
And btw i just want to know if everything is compatible?
When you say 16 gb of ram... 4x4gb or 2x8gb??

Question about oc ... If i want to play the game i said with max graphical ... Will i need to overclock it ?

Thank u so much

1. Not unless you are going to increase the clock speed on your CPU, or overclock.

2. I have an ASRock Extreme 4, and I'll vouch for it. Great board, the UEFI BIOS is really simple and if you are going to overclock, ASRock has provided a BUTTLOAD of options. I didn't really care for any of the applications they included, but maybe you would.

3. Gigabyte's Windforce 670 is really great. I know that my heavily modded Skyrim uses almost 4GB of VRAM, so maybe take a look at the 4GB EVGA model or the AMD Radeon 7970.

4. 8GB of RAM is more than enough. Games today only use up to 5.2GB of RAM or something around that number, and 16GB would be totally unneccessary unless you need to load large paging files. I have 16GB cause I found it dirt cheap, but I will never use it.

Gigabytes 670 2 gb is 344.99
Evga 670 superclocked 4 gb is 410.99
Gigabytes 680 2 gb is 467.99
I really dont know what to choose

No you will not need to overclock to max out the graphics on those games, your cpu and gpu will eat those games up.

get the 1st card for $344.99, that is more than enough power for the games you listed

You can overclock with that board, but you dont need too

The people who overclock are doing because they like to tinker with their PC and they want increased speed/performance. Its like a guy who buys a new mustage GT and gets a special package added to give him 50 more horsepower.
