Mounting HDD

First time DIY PC. Received WD 40GB HDD and upon looking at 3.5" cage, noticed that connected to the cage were screw mounting tabs that the disk could mount to, but only upside down. There is room inside the cage for the HDD btw. Just thought I'd separate the HDD from other 3.5" components (just FDD for now).

Any comments on this arrangement?

I know what you're talkin' about. I just put my hard drives inside the cage, though. I guess it's okay, but if there is a way to put my HDs in that upside-down "slot", I think it'd be a little better. Then again, my 80mm fan is right under there, so I guess forget it.

(I'm just rambling, just so you know I read your msg. Have fun building your first PC!)
