My new PC - BSOD problems. Tags: Build Systems Last response: December 21, 2012 8:03 AM in Systems Share chadlangford1 December 20, 2012 11:05:21 AM Basically i built my new PC build the system has a AMD FX 8320 CPU (AM3+) 970 Extreme 3 Mobo 2.0 ASUS 7870 DIRECT II 2GB 850WATT XFX Black edition modular PSU Stock Cooler 8GB (2X4GB) CORSAIR VENGEANCE and obviously my hard drive, dvd rw drive, case and other things. I know my hard drive works because it is out of my old build and it worked perfectly. PSU works fine as it is out of my old build. As far as i am concerned the ram works fine, I initially thought this is a problem but i replaced the ram with old ram which i know works and i stilled BSOD. I did a fresh install of windows 7 just out of curiosity and no change. More about : bsod problems djosbun December 20, 2012 11:31:23 AM I would download updated drivers for all of the hardware components you are using. If still BSOD, power up the system with minimum hardware install (remove CDROM, keep one stick of RAM, etc.). chadlangford1 December 20, 2012 11:36:21 AM Ok, any other feed back welcome. Ill try this immediately. Related resources BSOD on "New" gaming PC, just can't figure out the problem!
