Definitely 7970 or GTX 670 if you can find them for ~400$. Personally I kinda prefer the 7970 at this point (in drivers) because the 670 really only beats it in bf3 and a few others. If not, then a 7950 or a GTX 660, again my vote goes to the 7950. Keep in mind though I like the AMD cards more only because they are faster in the games that I like to play (aside from bf3). Mostly it depends on what you want to do with the card.

As for the rest of the build, looks great to me, it's almost exactly the components I would've chosen. Only thing is I might go with 8 or 12 gig RAM and put a little more $$ into a good GPU.
