Hi have done some research and this is the best build I seem to be able to come up with.
Currently have a phennom2 6 core 1090t which I have never really been happy with!

This build is for gaming and general use.

Open to all suggestions . Looking for best bang for buck items will the 2 memory types I have mix or should I try and pick up another 2gb stick of the dominator?
Will The gtx 470 be up to the job for a while longer?
Can anyone recommend a cooler as I am going to overclock this.
If it lights up needs to be blue. Or is my old one ok?

thanks in advance

Going higher than 1600mhz adds nothing. Use the ram you have. Xigmatek Dark Knight 2 glows white but the fans can be changed with blue light ones.
Gtx 470 still got it,but your new monitor looks demanding. Test it first is my advice. If it struggles, then change it.

Great responses thanks just got most of my upgrades going to put it together tonight.
Also going to keep a eye on ebay for another gtx 470 to sli with. Seems best bang for buck graphically. (hope there will be a few on after xmas)
Good news about the ram.
Will check out the cooler if the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO I bought is not up to the job.
