Why are you selling? I'm looking at both of these cards in the Overclocked Versions. Do you think the gtx 670 is better? Is it the OC version?

Thanks

The 670 gets beat by the 7950 even when it's overclocked. The 7950 can overclock to 1350 MHz (not recommended) and the GTX 670 can only clock to about 1250 (also not recommended). And after the latest drivers 7950 beats the 670's butt even more!

Clarification: 670 beats the 7950 at STOCK but not when they're both overclocked.

So do you think I should sell it?

you will not find a buyer for 300$. you can find one brand new for 300 or less at times. the product itself loses value once its not sold by a retailer and is considered open box.

edit: let alone brand new gets your 3 games as well.

so how much would you appraise it for

No. Why would you sell one of the biggest bang for buck performance monsters out there?

i cant remember how details go but its usually:

once opened: 20% off, 5% current price per month for 6 months, then 5% after every 3 months or something. close to that. the only way you can still sell something near full price is ONLY if the product is a new release, and a very low amount of people have it.

afaik when regular 670 is pit against boost 7950 (925mhz) gtx670 still wins. with the new catalyst (12.11) 7950 gain more performance but from tpu review most of the time they were even at 1200p. at 1600p 7950 will be ahead of 670 in some titles. the only game that 7950 really ahead of 670 is sniper elite v2 which is amd gaming evoled title. so stock vs stock they were pretty much even unless the game are favoring amd cards
