Speed issues with new modem

I got a new docsis 3.0 modem and have comcast blast. Hardwired to the modem i am getting 76 mbps download and 7 mbps upload. Hardwired through my linksys 160 v2 router i am getting 30 mbps down and 1 mbps upload. The weird thing is wirelessly my brother is getting 25 mbps download and 7 mbps upload. Any ideas?

If the linksys 160 is a docsis 2.0 modem, it's only capable of 30 mbps download speed.
