GTX660 BF3 Campaign glitches & MP Tearing

Last response: in Graphics & Displays

I have a 3570k, ASRock z77 extreme4 2.40 BIOS, and MSI 660 OC 306.97. Adaptive Vsync is enabled.

The first mission has a blue tint that really screws up the coloring in certain areas when I face it. The second mission has that sweat stuff stuck on my screen the whole time. And MP has some minor tearing but it is pretty consistent.

Anyone else have these problems or know how to fix them?

i heard some people are having screen tearing problem with the latest whql though it does not happen to my 460. can't you revert to older driver that compatible to your card or the latest beta?

The game is broken that is all, EA doesnt care!

I updated drivers. Now I think Battlelog is screwed up. It loads SO SLOW. I cant even get the game to launch at all now, SP nor MP. I tried with 3 different driver set s and it still wont launch the game and the website is continuously showing the loading animation on the tab. All my other games are working perfect.(Well except Dead Island, there is some popping going on in my right headphone when I play.)

IDK, how can you tell? How do I make it update?

Open origin and it should do it automatically or go to origins website and download the client it should update then. To be honest the problem you have if I were to have it I would back up files and do a fresh install as it only takes 20 mins tops to install windows. Just make sure if you do to download all the drivers you need for your Motherboard.

I'll wait until I get my SSD Monday to do that. This is ridiculous. I was just playing the game fine earlier today. Tom's Hardware has been having a few problems finishing loading currently as well. But it eventually finishes. The rest of the websites I have been to load perfectly.

Just did 2 quick scans this morning with Malwarebytes and avast. I restarted my PC ( Which I have done more than once since the problem started) and now its working. I am still getting sweat on my screen permanently in the 2nd mission. Thanks for all the help.

38 windows updates. That BIOS update really threw a lot of stuff off, but I am glad I did it now. Got a lot of troubleshooting experience under my belt now. Everything is running smooth, all is well.
