Limited or no connectivity

I have had about 10 laptops come in for "limited or no connectivity" in the past few months. I am still looking for the answer. I have one right next to me now and the one I am on is working fine. It does not matter that this is a Vista and the "bad" one is XP Pro. I have tried many solutions without any luck. I have not tried all the solutions that are suggested on this site but I will get to all of them. I have tried many of them but no luck. The next solution I am going to try is the deleting of the drivers through Device Manager but I won't try that until I know that I can find the new ones to download. Thanks for everybody's input

More about limited connectivity
  1. Do any of the computers get an IP address or do they just try to get one? There's a Zero Access RootKit that effects one of the network .sys files.
