Problem related with NVIDIA graphics card

i have NVIDIA GeForce 9400 series graphics card around one year older..... problem which i am facing is that on desktop pink and blue dots appear gradually and sometimes screen gets black and than re appear.... when i refresh the desktop the dots get disappear and than again gradually appears.... plz help me :-(
