Graphics cards choice on Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L

Any PCIe GPU will work. So more importantly is what CPU is in the board so we can avoid potential bottlenecks. What is the make and model of your power supply, and what is the max resolution of your monitor that you intend to play on?

To quote myself, from November 2012,

I would like to make that a little more specific though to help anyone else in the future.

If you have an older CPU, like a C2D, Pentium D, Athlon II, you can still play games, but you should be looking for a sub $100 GPU. Otherwise the CPU is going to bottleneck the performance.

So if you mentioned what model CPU you have, the specs for the power supply, it would be easy to recommend a card that would work for you. Also perhaps a budget of what you could spend for your upgrade with be another useful parameter.
