Dell XPS M1330 Issue

Hi all,

I have had this laptop since 2008 (I think) and recently decided to upgrade from Vista to Windows 7. Everything went smoothly until I tried installing the drivers for the graphics chip (nVidia GeForce 8400M GS). Upon reboot after installing the drivers the laptop freezes at the Windows 7 logo screen (which is completely pixelated), and then briefly switches to a blue screen, then reboots again. I can boot in safe mode, roll-back the graphics driver and it will boot using the generic VGA driver without issue. So, does anybody have any ideas? I am really hoping you do
