More about 6850 7750
  1. The Radeon HD 6850 is significantly better than the HD 7750. It uses some more power, so your PSU needs to be up to scratch. It's not a power hog though, and (usually) only requires one 6-pin PCIe power connector.

You will be able to play all of those games with a 6850, but several of them with reduced settings or resolution.

Thank you for your Reply :)

But can you suggest me any other GPU better than 6850 ? :)
  3. But with less price difference. I mean that can come in Range of 180-190$ (10000 Rs.)

The progression would go something like this from least to most powerful:

    5770/6770/7750
    7770
    6850
    6870
    6950
    7850
    7870

In the US you can find all the way up to 7850 for $180, but you will have to check Indian prices.

Unfortunately with your CPU being a few years old, that may be the limiter for playing the newest games. You could get a new 7850 but you'll be lagging a little bit on the CPU for many of these game titles.
  5. So if you want something between 180-190$ you should go with a Radeon HD 7850. ;)
  6. Thanks guys for your quick responses and information.

Can I install HD 7850 on my G41m MOBO and how much Power it takes? Will I have to change my PSU too?
  7. 450w
  8. Well, the motherboard only has PCIe 1.1 which will limit the 7850 a little. But then so will the CPU. I'd say only get a 7850 if it's not much more expensive than a 6870 or 7770. The 7770 is comparable to the 6850.

As for the PSU, it would help if you could tell us what your PSU make and model is. But a quality PSU around 500W would handle any of these graphics cards.
  9. The 7850 sips power. im running one on a 450 watt bronze psu overclocked to 1050 MHz with a 3570k. no issues (whole rig only pulls about 250-260 watts

My PSU is P4 ATX V1.3 Model: CPH693
  11. Get a new PSU.
  12. Thanks all of you Guys for your response.

I think I will save some money for PSU and going to buy HD 6870 or 6850 :)
