Hi all,
I am in process of building up a new PC. Till now I have:
1- CPU: AMD FX-6300
2- MB: ASRock 970 Extreme 3
3- RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3-1333
4- GPU: NVIDIA GT430 (passive cooling)
5- Casing + PSU 420 Watts
6- HDD (500GB)
7- DVD Writer
---
The remaining item is Casing Fan, which I want to place near the GPU, which has huge aluminium fins.
I am thinking to get Arctic Fan (12cm) F12, 1350pm + 57cfm (2.7L/s), but I don't know what kind of connecting cables and other pins etc. are necessary for casing fans.
The mainboard has 2 Chassis Fan Connectors (3 pin). I am unable to figure out how much power these connectors can offer to the fan.
If anyone has experience about casing fans, please guide me.

The fan will have its won cable built in to it, you dont need to get a separate cable. Should be either a 3 or 4-pin connector, either will work on your mobo's 3-pin headers.

Power shouldnt be an issue, you would have to be running a ridiculously large custom fan before power would be an issue i think.
