Hi,
I am trying to get my wife's mac book to print wireless to my hp desk jet 3050a 611g printer. The print report advises that the Mac hardware address of the printer must be added to the list of permitted devices for my wireless routed.

I don't know how :(

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

I've never had to do that. The setup is from the printer's own little windows where there will be a wireless setup procedure to follow. This just entails selecting the right network from those the printer shows in a list, then entering the correct security key. The router will adopt the printer automatically as a network device and a MAC will see it and identify it as a printer.

A software CD for the MASC shuopld have been shipped with the printer as a separate entity from the disk with Windows drivers.
