Howdy, took the 3 hr drive to MicroCenter for my xmas gift. Grabbed the ivyI7, 16 gigs of ram, 240gb ssd, 2tb hdd etc etc, only to come home, and halfway in the build forgot to buy a sata dvd player/burner. Is it a must that I upgrade bios through the cd that came with my motherboard, or can I just download everything once I get win7 on there? Btw it's an MSI

Hi, You'll find the drivers on the Internet. What's the board's model?
But for installing Windows you would need an USB stick with Windows on it.

Depending on the chipset on the old PC, this might not work (SATA driver missing or different a.s.o). Try simply connecting it to the new PC, set SATA to IDE in BIOS and check if the system would boot from the old HDD.
