I have noticed lately that a lot of Lexmark printer
drivers are not installing due to some error during the
install. I noticed from the setupapi.log this error:
#W154 Class installer failed. Error 1459: This operation
requires an interactive window station.

The part of the co-installer that is failing is listed as
follows:
[2004/09/24 16:35:44 728.19 Driver Install]
#-019 Searching for hardware ID(s): usbprint\lexmark_z700-

#I058 Selected best compatible driver.
#-166 Device install function: DIF_ALLOW_INSTALL.
#W154 Class installer failed. Error 1459: This operation

Is there a permissions problem here perhaps on services
that is preventing the install from completing? Any ideas
on this would be appreciated.

I have had so many problems with (correctly installed)
Lexmark drivers on Win2k and WinXP that I switched to any
printers other than Lexmark on our company network. I
suggest HP.
