hello, i am planning on building my first PC. it will have an intel core i5-3570k, but im not sure which case to use. i have decided in the corsair 500R ($109 on sale on newegg) or the corsair 550D. ($149 on newegg). the only thing i dont like about the 500r is the lack of dust filters and the side panels. however, it is much cheaper. so, which one should i get and why?

Neither! Corsair whores their name out in the case market. They are overpriced for what you actually get. See through it, and look for some better cases.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811517019 AZZA Genesis - White, black available!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811517006 AZZA Solano 1000R - Black, blue available!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811517010 AZZA Hurrican 2000 - Probably was the best case on the market couple years ago! Comes in red also. Here is amazon http://www.amazon.com/HURRICAN-2000-Computer-4xEasy-2x2-5-Inch/dp/B00457X10A/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top since its out of stock @ newegg. This is probably my favorite case I have ever owned. (I have the red version)

Consider other cases, Corsair is a great company but their cases are overpriced compared to the competition. It just isn't worth it. This is coming from a Corsair fanboy, I still stray from their cases. Just not smart buys.
