  1. very good 9/10 :) i bet it is for general purpose desktop pc...

if you plan on hardcore gaming, you will need monstrous card like 7950 or above
  2. The PSU is seriously overkill for that spec. It'll be way under load, meaning lower efficiency and higher energy bills. I'd reduce PSU or increase graphics (probably both).
  3. Thank you, I willl game, but not hardcore. And wanted to make sure I didn't mess anything up, such as the compatibility or buying unnecessary stuff.
  4. What PSU would you suggest?

if he already owns it, there no way he can do about PSU. i think it will be a good investment in the future

but yeah, the PSU is overkill :)
    Power Supply: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($39.99 @ NCIX US)
^ this one is good and reasonable price
  6. A 550 watt XFX would be more suitable and still leave a bit of headroom for upgrades.
  7. Thanks! I have not bought anything yet. Thought I would check in with more experienced people first. :D
  8. okay, you pick wrong the i5, it is the previous generation
pick the current i5 series 3570K or at least 3470 for cheaper price

and get 7850 or 7870 instead of gt 650. it will be huge improvement

and your case is expensive... are you sure it fits your budget???
  9. so i5-3570 and a 7850? Got it.
  10. But, some people have said that an ivy bridge and a z77x have some problems

this one is close to your build. make it fit your taste :)
  13. Or a GTX660 - even better. If you get a 7850, make sure it's a 2GB model.

make it 3570K with K, it will save you in the future ;)
and make sure you get RAM ddr3 1600 not 18xx or something
and add cooler master 212 evo for CPU cooler, gaming will heat the chip UP and cooler will ensure the longetivity of your parts
  20. kk thanks
