I'm looking to put together a budget gaming computer for around $700. Though I have been checking the compatibility of all of my parts, I know I am missing something as this is m first build.
Please help with any bottle necking or any issues you see.
Optical Drive---ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM
Case----Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite grey and black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case
HD-----Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Mother Board------ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+ AMD 990X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Doesn't look to bad. But I would go with a FX series over the phenom. It does improve fps a little. 6300 minimum. Also if you want a little faster build remove the 1tb. And get 2 Seagate barracuda 320gb in raid 0. raid helps speed up your system quite a bit and costs about the same as the 1tb
