Screen Flicker and Freeze

Hi Everyone,
I'm running a i7 2600K + Asus z68 + Dell UltraSharp U2312HM (onboard graphics driven).
I'm having bad screen flicker problems. It happens at random and it freezes the system as well. I have tried updating the latest driver, formatting and different resolutions without any success.
I'm using DVI cable for the monitor.

How odd. Looks like a graphics issue. I remember some time ago my GTX 560 Ti GPU had a problem rarely when a video or game was in fullscreen it would sometimes artifact or lock up the system completely, yet it doesn't do it anymore after a few revisions or driver updates. When the system locks up does the sound stutter?
