I'm doing my research before upgrading my current phone and found out
from nokia support that they set the limit at 128 and you must use
their card.

This doesn't sound right. If you have a video, camera phone that
plays multimedia I figure you should nee at least 512 of memory.

Also they tell me there is no headset adapter so you could use a
standard set of headphones. I wanted to plug it into the auxillary
audio input in my car to use the mp3 player feature but I guess that's
out.

Any ideas?

Thanks.....

i use a pqi 256mb card in my 6230, and many other people use 512mb and
even 1gb cards without problems.

i have heard that there are people doing the converters so you can
plug a pop-port connector into the 6230 and on the other end its a
standard headphones connector.

I have a Nokia 6620 that I got from ebay. I don't know about the headset
adapter, cause I got a Nokia stereo headset - I believe it's HDS-3 and it
has Pot-Port connector and sounds great.

The only problem as far as I'm concerened is that the sound is not loud
enough for my taste which is probably fine since I wouldn't be damaging my
ears as a result. For memory, I can understand Nokia's position on this, but
the fact is that I also got an 512 meg MMC from ebay about a month ago for
about $50 US and I've already got about 100 songs on it - it works without a
hitch.

Many people have reported using 1Gb cards with no problem. As for using
Nokia cards, well they would say that wouldn't they. Probably say 128Mb
is the limit because that is all Nokia supply and you can't go giving
your money to anyone else!
