So, I was wondering if this PCI Express 2.0 x16 video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

. . . will work on this motherboard: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=...

Pretty much, I am asking if my motherboard runs has a PCI-E 2.0 x16 or a 1.0/1 (whatever it is), and if it doesn't, will it work, and if it works, will it suffer a performance dip?

That did not help very much at all. Okay, I understand that it is PCI-E 1.0, but can I use my 2.0 video card on it and what will the performance difference be if it can?

You will probably see a 2-4% fps drop. You wont notice that.
