Will my motherboard support this video card?

So, I was wondering if this PCI Express 2.0 x16 video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130625

. . . will work on this motherboard: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3485#sp

Pretty much, I am asking if my motherboard runs has a PCI-E 2.0 x16 or a 1.0/1 (whatever it is), and if it doesn't, will it work, and if it works, will it suffer a performance dip?

More about will motherboard support video card
  1. this board is pci-e 1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express and from gigabyte specs http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3485#ov so board will work at pci-e 1 for graphic
  2. That did not help very much at all. Okay, I understand that it is PCI-E 1.0, but can I use my 2.0 video card on it and what will the performance difference be if it can?
  3. you could use the card but she will not work ats a pci-e 2.0 but at 1.0 so less faster in speed
  4. Could someone please just give me some solid facts? What kind of framerate difference could I expect with the Geforce gtx 550 ti on this motherboard?
  5. I looked some stuff aup and I see that the video card will work with the motherboard, but what I can't find is the performance difference.

How much of a performance difference can I expect guys?
  6. You will probably see a 2-4% fps drop. You wont notice that.
