Sometimes even worse than pirates...the storefront may just be

So by adverstising this you are supporting software piracy. How is this
different from me deciding to use your photos and not paying you for them?

Whois says a branch of the FBI runs that site, so he's merely
increasing US taxation in the form of fines.

(I jest, but you don't *know*)

Your usenet post however needed to be transmitted around the globe at
speeds close to the speed of light, stored on tens of thousands of
computers disk systems and possibly archived for all eternity by
Google. How did you warrant such a wanton waste of the Earth's
resources?

(You don't need respond, it's a rhetorical question..)

Definitely FBI, using some dodgey Russian name.. but, do some quick
computer analysis and it's worse: (You'll need fixed-width font if you
are even slightly interested in the calculation...)

**** THE PROOF THAT Viacheslav Raykov IS FBI ****

V I A C H E S L A V R A Y K O V
22 9 1 3 8 5 19 12 1 22 18 1 25 11 15 22 -
as numbers
4 9 1 3 8 5 1 3 1 4 9 1 7 2 6 4 -
digits added
\_____________/ \_____________/ \_____________/ \_____________/
8 8 6 1 -
digits added

Thus, "Viacheslav Raykov" is 8861.

Turn the number backwards, and add 1776 - the year masonry founded Phi
Beta Kappa. The number is now 3464.

Subtract 69, the year of the destruction of Jerusalem. The result will
be 3395.

Multiply the number by 006 - this is the symbol of war, from right to
left. It gives 20370.

Subtract 5981 from the number - this is the year Rudolph Hess was
born, written backwards. It gives 14389.

Add 8821 to it - this is the year it was made legal for women to
propose to men, written backwards - you will get 23210.

This, when read backwards, gives 01232. This is 666 in octal, the
number of the Beast...

FBI, QED.

Thank you for your recent report. Regarding software, when an offer
sounds too good to be true, it probably is. This offer is of illegal
software. We advise you not to purchase from these pirates and avoid
being defrauded and/or have your credit card information and/or
identity stolen.

FYI, the only place where you can legally download Adobe software is
Adobe.com.

Sincerely,

Adobe Investigations/Anti-Piracy Enforcement Department
