  1. Do you have a question?
  2. sorry my post didnt edit correct :( i will continue the post here.

    above is my current GPU, i have CPU :

    ==========

    2.50 gigahertz Intel Core2 Quad
    64 kilobyte primary memory cache
    3072 kilobyte secondary memory cache
    64-bit ready
    Multi-core (4 total)
    Not hyper-threaded

    =========

    Machine: Dell Inc. Dell XPS420

    With 375W PSU.
    4GB RAM

    Im looking to spend around £100 a little above or below either ok.

    Looking for a graphics card to play COD: BO2 and assasins creed 3 etc ..

    Does anyone have any suggestions?
  3. Hmm, well I would suggest either the HD7750 or HD7770 depending on how much they are in your country.
  4. well im from the UK , so i will have a quick look. Will i need to upgrade the PSU for either of these ?
  5. Nah, Dell makes decent power supplies and those 2 cards don't use that much power.
  6. just looking at the HD7770 it says at least 500w PSU, it does say 375w on mine when i look inside ... you sure it will be ok ?
  7. Yea I am. The 7770 draws 84W on full load. If you want to be really really sure, you can crack open that computer of yours and give me the power supply specifications.
  8. i can do better than that heres a photo/s

  9. You have 2 12V rails with can support up to 380W, as the power supply states. That's plenty for the 95W Q9300W processor you have and the 84W HD7770 and the other things in your computer.
  10. nice one Deemo13 :) thanks for the help, im new to the whole gaming side of Pc's since selling my consoles ... think its time i upgraded GPU to as much as i can afford...
  11. No problem. That computer will serve you for a few more years with that upgrade :)
  12. GPU is the main thing for now..
    then another 4GB of ram as thats pretty cheap now days

    but when i can be arsed SSD is on the cards :) plus have the ££ for it :)
  13. ok so i forgot about this thread, i am going to upgrade the PSU so i can get a better graphcis card also.
    the PSU i want to get is this one
    Corsair Builder Series CMPSU-600CX 600W Power Supply http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150980671959&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

    just not 100% sure if this is going to be ok for my machine, then once that it all ok and up and running, i am going to get a Geforce 560 ti.

    this is my current specs
