I was just trying to come up with a list of countries that officially
manufactured laserdiscs (not counting Singapore bootlegs). Does
anyone know if I missed any?

NTSC: US, Japan, Hong Kong
PAL: UK, France, Germany

Check www.LDDb.com, also released LDs: Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Korea.

Wasn't there a plant in Austria, too?

There were at least two plants in Europe.

The Philips/DuPont plant and the Sony DADC Austria plant. - Reinhart
