So my computer is a about 4 years old and during gaming sessions I was beginning to experience video "tearing" when i would
play games(random spikes through the game world and dots on the screen), Usually resulting in my computer freezing or the video feed to my monitor cutting in and out till a freeze.
After changing settings and mucking around with it, I decided it was the video card (GTX 285) so i went out and made the frugal
choice of purchasing a new card instead of a new system. I bought a Geforce GTS 450 for 100 bucks from staples and the
problem was instantly solved.
However fast forward 1 month and im experiencing the exact same issue as I was before and i'm now baffled as to the problem?
Surely it couldnt be the video card again?
