your budget or PSU isn't the problem but that CPU is.

with that in mind a 7850 will do fine but i think a gtx 660 or 7870 will have some problems getting bottlenecked.

You guys are suggesting a 7850 and he has a dual core? Interesting....

I wouldn't go any higher then a 6850. (GTX560 or something similar if you favor Nvidia.) I fear that dual core CPU is going to hold you back a lot more then the others do.

No i am suggesting a 7770 he asked which was best out a 6870 or 6850 or 7850 i reply 7850 ;)

nope. cheapest i saw:
Sapphire AMD HD 7850 Rs. 14045

now i do think you can do better than a 7770 so the inbetween card (and it is about the same price as the 7770 i saw)
ZOTAC NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti Rs. 11024

usually a 650ti wouldn't get a recommendation because of the price. but seeing where it is priced in your country compared to the 7770 it is a good choice.

so 6850 should be edge for e5700 without lag

actually none of us asked you what resolution you are playing at. shame on us because that could make a difference.

i am not going to disagree that a 7850 might be too much, you do have an older cpu and if the games you play put a big load on it, there will be a bottleneck.

i still think you can do a bit better than a 7770 in my opinion, the 650ti would be better without taking as much of a chance of getting lag. and better performance of the 6850:
