Hi, I am new over here and I would like to know if it would be worth going from a 9800 gtx+ to a GTX 650 Ti. I currently have a 600 watt PSU, AMD 3.4 GHz quad core CPU and 8 GB of RAM.

I enjoy playing video games and I like when it runs smooth so that's why I am looking for a video card upgrade since I think the rest of my setup is pretty good for playing games.

I was mainly interested by the GTX 650 Ti because I saw that promotion where you can get Assassin's Creed 3 for free when you buy the video card.

So tell me if it's a good bet or if you think I should get something else in the same range of price.

Thanks a lot.

650Ti is the same class with 6870..
5 tiers higher than 9800GT

actually, 7850 will be very good option, the best price performance ratio today..
Around 15%-25% faster than both card above..

With never settle bundle, you'll get farcry 3 for free and 20% off for new title of medal of honor...

If you were planning on buying/playing assassin's creed in the first place, go with the 650 ti.

The performance of the 650 ti is between the 7770 and the 7850.

But, in all honesty, I would wait for black friday and see if you can pick up a 7850 for cheaper, that would be your best bet.

price range? $20 more gets you a 7850 which is much better in price/performance.

the 65ti is a great little card but it needs to come down in price, closer to the 7770 to be a good purchase.
