I like what i read here...600L? hmmm...about 1k us? WOW.
I have a 20d but really enjoyed the dynamic shooting (vis realtime
view on the little screen) of the sony f707 i used to use; and the
"waist high" ability via the moveable lens/ body. Just curious as
to the groups impressions and insights.

Whatya think?

When shooting any of my cameras that are not the 717, I really miss the
movable lens. But this could be accomplished with an angle finder
attachment on the 20d, but I have yet to find one in the store to try out on
my SLR. I assume the image would be darker, but don't know for sure.

Yeah...me too. The adapter would do some; but it's still not put up on
the screen until youv've snapped. I used to like waving the came
around til i got the light liked then locking in the exp. This samsung
sounds pretty cool.

You can still do that - sorta. I do with a non-digital SLR - just have to
trust the force, Luke. :)

I find the LCD to be practically useless on a sunny day, so I don't miss it
much. But it's nice to be able to shoot a ground level shot from my knees
instead of on my stomach. :)
