I've been looking around for a new computer build lately. This is what I picked so far and I was wondering what you guys think about it!
Approximate Purchase Date: This week.
Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400): Including shipping around €1100
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, school work, regular browsing. No photoshopping or rendering.
Are you buying a monitor: Yes
Parts to Upgrade: (e.g.: CPU, mobo, RAM): Full build
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (e.g.: newegg.com, ncix.com -- to show us selection & pricing): The cheapeast ones. I'm not located in the UK so I'll pick the shop that's cheap & decent.
Location: the Netherlands. I've decided to throw to build it myself. I've been watching hours of videos on how to do it. I'm patient so I think I'll be fine if I take a few hours for it =P.
Parts Preferences: by brand or type (e.g.: I would like to upgrade to Intel CPU): None.
Overclocking: Nope
SLI or Crossfire: Nope
Your Monitor Resolution: (e.g.: 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, 1920x1200 or if you're upgrading please state what you'd want to get): Full HD (1920:1080/1200
Additional Comments: (e.g.: Need to have a window and lots of bling, I would like a quiet PC. Please also list specific software or games you're using): Relatively quiet, but it doesn't have to be 'silent'. Some noise is okay as I'm probably wearing a headset anyway.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: (e.g. I'm having trouble running game X or my PSU broke): My current computer is 5 years old and I notice it's getting a tougher time keeping up with games (that shouldn't be that hard on your system). I've saved up for it!
