White screen

Hello,
I dismantle my toshiba satellite c655 to fix a stuck boot issue. in the process of assembling the laptop again i connected the lcd cable wrongly and switched it on, but there was no display. i later realised the mistaked and reconnected the lcd cable righhtly. i switched it on and there was a white screen and vertical lines. I dont know in the cable got destroyed or the screen. how can i make it work?

Likely screen damage! What you can do without replacing the screen i do not know.
