Confirmation of first time Desktop build.

Hello I was wondering if someone could confirm that the hardware I am selecting will all work out. This is my first computer build, so any input would be much appreciated. Thank you...


Case: COOLER MASTER HAF 922 RC-922M-KKN3-GP Black Steel + Plastic and Mesh Bezel ATX

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU: AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Six-Core Desktop Processor

GPU: MSI N660 Ti PE 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Power Supply: Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

All of this minus basic hard drive, CDDVD Driver, and RAM.

First of all thank you very much....

And after consideration i might switch to the i5 for $150, thought the specs were really good. But I have some interest in AMD processors for some reason.......
I also am switching to the Radeon 7950 3 GB...I looked into it and it looks way better than the 670..

^ thats is exactly what i would recommend

i5 3470 + H77 or B75 mobo any brand will do
