First chance at building a gaming computer for about $1000 Tags: New Build Computer Systems Last response: December 26, 2012 8:47 PM in Systems Share ac87 December 26, 2012 12:53:29 PM Here's my first attempt at building a new computer to hopefully last me a few years with games but at least be able to play the games currently at decent settings. (Far Cry 3, Skyrim) I was hoping to be around $1000, but my current build is a little higher. If you guys could let me know if the prices are okay, everything will fit together, and any changes to make things a little cheaper or improve things please let me know! Any help would be appreciated! Then only get 8gb ram. Only get a 600w psu. Then get a cheaper air cooler. Also, get a 7970. | Report abuse Reply to lt_dan_zsu Ask the community Post an answer Tom's Hardware>Forum>Systems>First chance at building a gaming computer for about $1000> Related ressources: Forum2nd Chance First Build Forum[Solved] ~$ 1000 Gaming PC (My first build ) Forum~$ 1000 Gaming Desktop, First Build ForumOne Last Chance for Good Advice - Gaming PC - SB-$1100 Forum$ 1000 purely on hardware, gaming rig, first time build Forum£ 1,000 gaming first build ForumFirst Build Gaming PC $800-$ 1000 ForumBuilding a Gaming Computer - Budget $ 1000 ForumThe chance to break into Dell's supplier chain has passed.
