I will only be using this for gaming and plan to do 0 overclocking as this is my first time building a computer and my budget is 1.2k USD. Thanks for the help!

no overclocking means not getting a z77 board. so id recommend this. has a pretty substantial SSD. a 7970 is cheaper than the 670 but 30 bucks, so id suggest that over the msi power edition 670.

-if outlet pc does not have free shipping, us.ncix has windows 7 for the same price

Thanks for the list but I've heard a lot about the 670 having better drivers and is just better than the 7970 without overclocking. Is this true?

i personally dont have much of a problem recommending both. the 670 does have more stable drivers but then it costs more, performs a tad wores, and doesnt come with free games. just pick one of them. both will be great

this is the 670 i was talking about. happens to come with borderlands 2 and asssasins creed 3

Since you're not overclocking and don't have an unlocked CPU you can ditch the Evo since it's really not going to add anything except a huge hunk of aluminum sticking out the side of your mobo.
