i'm planning this for my build:

CPU - i3 3220 (£84.56)
Mobo - Gigabyte B75M-D3V (£44.99)
RAM - CORSAIR 2 X 4 GB DDR3-1600 (£32.32)
GPU - SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition - 2 GB GDDR5 (£156.20)
SSD - OCZ Agility 3 240GB (£106.99)
PSU - Corsair Builder Series CX500 - 500 Watt 80 PLUS (£47.99)
Case - Cooler Master Elite 371 (£38.28)
Samsung S222BB 22x DVD+/-RW SATA (£14.99)

Total: £526.35

Is there anything i could change to lower the price, but still have an awesome gaming pc?

maybe go with a lower capacity ssd and go with a hard drive as mass storage

Get a 500gb HDD instead of the SSD..its not going to make any difference in gaming performance if you don't have an SSD.. you could get the cx 430 instead of cx500 but i would'nt recommend that..get the cheapest low profile 2*4gb 1600 ram from any good brand..your build is decent for your budget..there is nothing much to change..but if your really want to reduce the budget then you'll have to sacrifice some performance..
