I bought a new motherboard about 4 months ago and it has
USB 2.0 on it. The manual with the motherboard said that
USB 2.0 support will come with the installation of SP1. I
did install SP1 and it worked fine, however when I
installed SP2 now it just acts like a USB 1.1 device when
I plug in my pen drive?

If the word "Enhanced" appears in Device Manager under the Universal Serial
Bus Controllers entry you have USB2.0
