Used 670 vs new $300 card

I have the opportunity to buy a gently used Gigabyte 670 windforce model for $300. Keep in mind that Gigabyte honors warranties on cards based on serial number and does not require a receipt as an original purchaser for RMAs.

Would I be better of buying this gently used card or should I spend the $300 on a new card?

Depends. If the used card is helping a friend or something, do it. Otherwise you need to negotiate the price down considerably. No one buys some thing used at new prices. If you cannot get the price down to $250 or less, go used.

I appreciate the quick responses. This is a seller on craigslist, whom I have no personal allegiance to.

I understand not paying as much for used product, but the card lists for $430 and though I have seen some 670's for ~$330, I have not seen the windforce model for anywhere near that.

Is $300 still too much?

The card goes for $399.99 taking a hundred off for a used card the seller is pressing their luck try and get them to be reasonable 280 max
