I have been having roughly daily crashes on my Vaio V505DX laptop
running XP SP2. The blue screens have varying stop codes involving
corrupted pools, IRQ not less than or equal, and other errors. The
blue screens don't directly implicate a specific driver.
Running verifier also didn't implicate a specific driver so I used a
binary search to narrow the problem down to ndis.sys. Trouble is, I
am already running 5.1.2600.2180 and don't know which driver using the
ndis wrapper is the actual culprit.
How can I determine which network drivers use ndis?
Is it possible to use the ndis verifier or ndis test tool w/o a MSDN
subscription?
Any help is welcome. I desperately want to stabalize my laptop!
