I just want to run battlefield 3 on ultra.

so my gtx 460 failed to achieve ultra :cry: 
my question is whats the cheapest graphics card that when coupled with windows 7 64 bit, 8 gb ram, phenom x4 965 processor, 200 gb memory, and a 650 psu will run bf3 on ultra with at least 60 fps?
RESOLUTION IS 1440X900

jesus christ, you missed one critical bit of information, what resolution! maybe your 460 will do bf3 on ultra at 640x480 :D 
ps dont refer to your hdd space as memory, generally when you say memory your referring to ram

I rock 60+ on ultra 1080p. 2500k+660ti= awesomeness. Sometimes I can turn on 4xAA.

My CPU is definitely better than a phenomx4 but your 900p should probably work with a 660 or 7850.

The OP stated in the first post his resolution is at 1440x900.

And as for your question. I went from a 460 to a 560 Ti with the same specs as you and could play on ultra. After about a month, I tossed the 560 and went intel with a 660 ti. Even a regular 660 would play fine on ultra. It runs about 200-230 bucks.

No it was a fine card, as for the price it wasnt worth it to keep it. I just took it back and got a complete refund. And yes the 7770 can run the game fine. Not 60+ on ultra as even I drop down to the 40s sometimes. But it will run the game. I have a couple buddies that game with it and he says it plays bf3 fine. For future reference, check this site for benchmarks between 2 selected cards you want.
