What is SLI or Crossfire

Solution
It's a method of using 2 GPU together to render the onscreen image via AFR (alternate frame rendering)

So gpu 1 does frame 1, gpu 2 does frame 2, gpu 1 does frame 3 ect.

It gives you about 90% of the power of the GPU's individually and can generally only be done with the same type of GPU ect two gtx 670's.

AMD has a hybryd crossfire with allows you to do it with 2 from the same series ie hd 6970 and a hd 6950
