Can somebody clear this up?

My rig

Corsair 500R Case
I7 2700k @ 4.5Ghz
Corsair H100 Cooler
Asrock Z77 Pro4 Mobo
Corsair Vengeance 16GB @1600Mhz
Intel 256GB SSD
GTX 560Ti
Seasonic X650 PSU

Im looking to upgrade to a GTX 670. I know PCI 3.0 will not work with a SB CPU. Is that slot still X16? This confuses the heck out of me frankly.

- 1 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot (PCIE2: x16 mode)
- 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot (PCIE3: x4 mode)
- 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot
- 3 x PCI slots

Should i plug it in the 3.0 slot still? And also if this were true couldnt I SLI if I wanted to? Im really lost.
