Hello I just recently purchased and built my pc. This is my first build so I'm not sure how the audio is supposed to work. I downloaded all of the drivers for my motherboard and video card. I am using a Syncmaster 2220WM Monitor. I tried plugging in the audio jacks in and I'm not getting any audio. I have also tried my other speakers and that also didn't work. If anyone could help me find out what the problem is I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

My specs are

Solution
check audio lead from front panel most have two connectors one for HD audio and one for
AC97 . switch the connector and see if the sound works - I'm betting it will.

Good luck
